Key
Information
We want to make your child's journey with BookBino as smooth as possible. Here are the practical details you need to know about our sessions.
What year levels do you cater for?
We specialise in Year 1 to Year 3 students, focusing on building strong numeracy foundations during these critical early years.
What does your program focus on?
Our program focuses on number sense, problem-solving, and mathematical fluency. Lessons are carefully designed to strengthen core skills while building confidence and independence.
How is your program different from school learning?
We bridge the gap between school lessons and independent work by providing structured, scaffolded practice that helps students truly understand and apply what they learn.
Do you follow the school curriculum?
Yes. Our program is aligned with the Queensland curriculum while also extending students where needed and reinforcing key concepts.
Do your tutors hold a valid Blue Card?
Yes. All tutors hold a current Queensland Blue Card and meet all legal requirements for working with children.
How many students are in each class?
Our classes are kept small, with 4 - 6 students per class. This allows us to provide individual attention, build student confidence and create a supportive learning environment.
How long is each lesson?
Each lesson runs for 45 minutes, depending on the class level. Lessons are structured to balance concept teaching, guided practice and independent work.
How much does it cost?
Fees are charged per term. Our small group classes are $28-$32 per lesson. Check our Session Times page for class details.
What happens if my child misses a class?
We understand that sometimes students may need to miss a lesson. As classes are run in small groups and places are limited, sessions are generally non-refundable. However, we are happy to provide lesson materials or brief catch-up support where possible to help your child stay on track.
Will my child get homework?
Light, optional practice may be provided to reinforce learning, but our main focus is on high-quality learning during each session.
What materials are provided?
All customized workbooks, practice papers and stationary are included in the program fee. Your child only needs to bring their curiosity!
How do we track progress?
We monitor each student's progress through in-class performance, regular practice and ongoing observation. We provide a progress update at the end of each term and are always happy to share additional feedback with parents whenever needed.
